We’re getting #PUMPED! Only 2 more days until World Water Day and our Water Day campaign.

If you haven’t heard yet, we were giving an amazing opportunity: Every donation given to our campaign by March 22 (World Water Day) will be matched dollar-for-dollar by The Prem Rawat Foundation, up to $25,000. We have the potential to raise up to $50,000 on March 22nd.

That means 90 new mechanics will be hired and trained in rural areas of India to help maintain wells and provide sustainable access to clean water to more than 450,000 people.

We told you it was an amazing opportunity.

World Water Day is coming up in TWO days — let’s make it a good one!

March 16th, 2012

You know this kid is excited for our World Water Day 24-hour campaign.

…Okay, maybe not since we didn’t send a memo to him, BUT you know he would be.

So help make a kid’s day (or several kids’ day) by joining us on World Water Day by blogging, tweeting, Facebooking, pinning, etc. about the need for sustainable access to clean water — and helping us raise funds to provide this access.

One out of every three water wells in India are broken, and more continue to break down because of a lack of maintenance. Our goal at The Adventure Project is to hire and train local leaders to become mechanics to help fix and prevent breakdowns, helping their communities maintain access to clean drinking water.

On World Water Day, March 22nd, we’re rallying together 250 people to MAKE NOISE on the Internet via their blogs, Tumblrs, tweets, status updates, and Pinterest boards, and to get their circles to give to the cause.

If 250 people can raise $100 each, that would make $25,000 raised for clean water. Even better? The Prem Rawat Foundation is offering to match every donation that comes in by World Water Day, up to $25,000 — which means we have the potential to raise $50,000 in 24 hours!

This means hiring 90 mechanics to provide clean water for over 450,000 people.

450,000 people.

Amazing.

Will you (and your Tumblr/blog/Twitter/etc.) join us for March 22nd?

The Adventure Project is helping communities like this one in rural India have sustainable access to clean water and better health.

On March 22nd, our global network is celebrating World Water Day with a challenge: to help raise $25,000 in 24 hours. It’s possible. But we need your help.

We’re enlisting 250 people to join us next week to help raise a lot of noise on March 22nd, via our social networks. Together, through our #typeTAP fundraising pages, we’re going to raise enough funds to hire 90 mechanics who will provide clean water for 450,000 people in their areas.

How?

We’re giving our blogs, Tumblrs, Twitter accounts, Facebook walls, Pinterest boards, etc. to spread the news for just 24 hours and have our networks give to an amazing project. All donations up until midnight will be matched by The Prem Rawat Foundation, up to $25,000. This is an amazing opportunity to be part of something huge and lasting.

Sign up here and our phenomenal interns will set up a page for you and get you on board for our World Water Day #typeTAP online campaign!
