Need some organic, locally-produced, socially-conscious, awesome lip balm for the summer? Pick up some ADVENTURE Balm, made by our Tribe in Iowa: http://tapwater.causevox.com/adventurebalm!

The ADVENTURE Balm is made by Leslie (above), Tesi, and Jennie, who are our featured members today, with another creative and impressively crafty idea for raising funds to provide jobs and clean water for families in India:

“In the coming weeks, several local TAP enthusiasts will enjoy a ‘crafting night’ at which we’ll make homemade lip balm, package it in cute containers, and sell it to our friends — donating all proceeds to [The Adventure Project]’s water initiative! We’re hoping to sell enough lip balm to equip at least one mechanic with everything they need to be an on-the-ground part of this water revolution. And we’ll have a great time while doing it!”

- Leslie Klipsch, Davenport, IA

Want to help a community in India maintain access to clean water? Help us as we hire and train local leaders to become mechanics, earn a living, and provide clean water. Our goal is to give enough mechanic jobs out to ensure healthier lives for nearly 1 million people.
